In the morning, your skin will need to be ready to face the day, it will need protection from the sun, heat and pollution. That’s why at night, it must be pampered, hydrated and repaired. The only way to wake up fresh and fierce is to be restoring your skin overnight, and that’s why you must perfect your night skin care routine.

Step 1: clean
Even if you don’t wear makeup, you must clear away the buildup of dirt and sebum from the day. We like a micellar water with a soft cotton pad. Then wash your face with a gentle cleanser.
If you wear makeup, especially eye makeup and foundation, you should use a makeup remover first, but it won’t be enough to remove all the makeup. Then after removing the waterproof and eye makeup, wash your face with a gentle cleanser.
This will thoroughly purify your skin and it works for all skin types.
Step 2: exfoliate
Exfoliating is very important at night because you’re not only removing all the dead skin cells, but you’re also paving the way for better absorption of the treatment products you apply next.
We like gentle scrubs using natural elements, and we also like chemical scrubs using products like Vitamin C and gentle acids like AHA and PHA.
Step 3: repair
Now that your skin is smooth and clean, it’s time to repair with a boost to the collagen, by applying a Retinol based cream. This will take care of fine lines and wrinkles, and it will regenerate your skin while you sleep.
Extra tip: don’t forget your eyes! Before your beauty sleep, a dose of brightening cream will do wonders for your eyes, smoothing out any puffiness or darkness.
Step 4: moisturize
It’s time to hydrate with a Hyaluronic Acid serum or cream. It will go right into the deep layers of skin after you have properly prepped your face and gotten ready to receive this dose of happiness. We think you can overdo it a bit on the dose of happiness, since you’re going straight to bed and don’t have to worry about a shiny face. Just massage your face, rubbing the product all in. You really feel that your skin is plumped up and bright.
