Just imagine: you’re at a cosmetic doctor’s office and he promises to make you as beautiful as Marilyn Monroe, but you end up looking like Marilyn Manson. Ok, it’s a very serious subject but we’re gona list some stories for your reading pleasure, and also as cautionary tales.
Low-budget lip fillers.
An 18-year-old girl landed in the hospital for a week after her lips swelled to look like solid sausages, then they began leaking green and yellow pus. She then had to undergo surgery to remove the infected fillers which left her lips permanently damaged.
Sleeping with her eyes open.
A woman who wanted more contouring to her sagging face, decided to get an eyelid surgery. Her doctor recommended to do bother her upper and lower eyelids, but when she went home something was wrong. When she tried to take a nap, tears were pouring down her face because she could not close her eyes anymore. She was sleeping with her eyes open.

She then had a heart attack and was placed in a medically induced coma to prevent further brain damage. However, she sadly died later that same day, proving that perfection is sometimes not worth the price.
