Women and men of the world, do you want to know why you were born so special in your own way? On this international women’s day let’s celebrate mothers everywhere and have a look at what genetic beauty they gave us.
From high arch brows to luscious lips, let’s check out some of the traits we got from the number one woman in our lives: our mama.

Hair Color and texture
Those bouncy beautiful curls? Thanks mom! Yes you got your hair genes passed down from your mom, and it’s not just the texture but also the color.
Adorable Dimples
We’re all weak in the knees as soon as we see dimples! Whether on a kid or on an adult, this utterly adorable trait is inherited from your mom.
Interesting Ears
Whether a mom has unattached or attached earlobes, it’s basically genetically guaranteed that she’ll give them to her baby too.

Long Lashes
This coveted trait is the envy of every woman who wants fake lashes or lash extensions. Apparently, if your mom has dark hair and full lashes, then you are going to be blessed with this beautiful gift.
Freckles
If your mom has a freckled nose or shoulders, then you will also look the same after a day in the sun: sun kissed. And it’s just adorable! Nowadays, many women are painting on fake freckles in an attempt to obtain a younger, fresher look.
Skin health
If your mom has a youthful complexion no matter the birthday she’s celebrating, then you’re in luck. It’s our mother’s genes that affect how quickly we age. Our skin’s health and rate of ageing are controlled by the DNA from the mitochondria which we inherit exclusively from our mothers.
Facial Expressions
If you’ve been told you have an amazing smile, then you can thank your mom. Also, you know that thing you do when you lie and your nostrils flare? Or the way you can raise one eyebrow in wonder? Would you believe all these abilities were coded into our DNA?!

Face shape
Facial symmetry is the ultimate measure of beauty, and it just so happens that we inherit our mom’s face. It’s truly like mother like daughter.
Full or thin Lips
Give us a kiss to thank mom again! Full lips or thin lips, you probably can see the resemblance when you look at your mom. We know some of you will start blaming your luck (lol), but chances are if both parents have thin lips then you don’t have a chance at luscious puckers. That’s why we have appointments at Dr. Costi’s clinic (lol).
Eye Shape
Not just shape, almond or round, but also the size of your eyes is determined by your mom. Now look into a mirror, then look at your mom, what do you see exactly?

So thank you mom! Thank you for making the world beautiful with just a smile. On behalf of everyone we would like to thank the mothers of the world on this day and tell them how much we appreciate them every day!
